Situated on the top floor, above The Ship Inn, The Wheelhouse Club & Lounge Bar is the Lake District's Premier Nightclub, with state-of-the art light and sound system, large dancefloor, flexible modern furniture, LCD TV’s and giant 7ft drop-down giant screen… a venue for all occasions.

Monday night is the big staff night out with one of our resident DJ's, but everybody is welcome! It's free entry all night, so come down early to avoid the queues.
Thursday nights are your chance to hear the songs you want with our very own Big John, absolutely anything goes and with over 150,000 tracks theres not much he doesn't have!
Start the weekend every Friday night with DJ ‘Funky’ Si playing a mixture of funky house, indie, party classics, and all the latest chart hits.
Saturdays are simply the big party night with one of our resident DJ's playing all the big party tunes! See the events page for up to date listings of what’s on.
The Wheelhouse is also available for day or night time private hire/use, be it for a birthday party or a function, and depending on the circumstances, hiring the club may be free! Please call us on 015394 44400 to discuss your requirements.
Admission Policy
We no longer require Membership to gain admission. Our dress code is smart casual, but no football shirts on Friday or Saturday nights. Strictly no headwear is allowed. The management reserve the right of admission.
